"When I first met Dr. Lynch at Dental Care Burke, I had serious dental issues---periodontal disease, ill-fitting crowns, several teeth in dire need of root canals, and still others requiring veneers.  Throughout these procedures, Dr. Lynch has been attentive, caring, and engaging, but more importantly, he has always been totally focused on the task at hand.  I have high regard for Dr. Lynch for whom I believe dentistry is a passion and for whom the end result, the final product, cannot be less than perfect.  What more can a patient ask for?"

Common Dental Problems

Dental issues are never any fun, the good news is that many of the problems you suffer can be easily prevented. Brushing at least twice a day, daily flossing, proper diet and regular dental checkups are all essential in the prevention of dental problems. Burke residents need to educate themselves about common dental problems as well as their causes, this will go a long way in prevention.

  • Tooth Decay

Tooth decay, better known to many as cavities, is the second most prevalent disease in the United States right under the common cold. Tooth decay occurs when plaque, that sticky substance that forms on your teeth, mixes with the starches and sugars that we eat. The combination produces an acid that attacks your tooth enamel. But there is a way to prevent tooth decay, it starts with brushing your teeth at least twice a day. In addition, eating properly, flossing daily and going to your Burke dentist for regular checkups are also ways to prevent this disease.

  • Gum Disease

Gum disease, or periodontitis, is a bacterial infection caused by plaque that attacks the gums, bones and ligaments that keeps your teeth in place. The early stage of gum disease is known as gingivitis. Studies indicate about half of all adults in America show at least some signs of gingivitis. The people who are at most risk for gum disease are those with poor oral hygiene. Schedule an appointment with your Burke dentist if you feel you could be suffering gum disease.

  • Bad Breath

If you suffer bad breath, otherwise known as halitosis, you are not alone. According to several dental studies conducted over the years, right around 85 percent of those who suffer persistent bad breath can blame it on a dental condition. Cavities, dry mouth, oral cancer and gum disease are all dental problems that can cause persistent bad breath. And using mouthwash to mask the odor will not cure the root of the problem. If you are suffering from bad breath, give your Burke dentist a call.

  • Unattractive Smile

While an unattractive smile is not a disease, it is still a dental problem many suffer. There are many people who are unhappy about the appearance of their teeth and a poor smile can lower one’s self-esteem. There are ways to have a beautiful smile and it starts with a phone call to your Burke dentist.Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. "Dr. Lynch and his staff are the best. Past situations have caused me to have bad dental anxiety and not trust dentists but everyone here is so compassionate and understanding. They make me feel welcomed, cared for and put me to ease to their best ability. Dr. Lynch is also very thorough on his plans and only wants what is best for you and your situation. The work he has done has been wonderful. I also live about 45 minutes from his office, but he is worth every mile in my opinion!"

"I have been a loyal patient of Dr.Lynch for many years now. Before I went to Dr. Lynch all the dental work I had done in the past was having constant issues. He took care of all those issues for me.

Before he did the work, he spent a lot of time going over everything so I understood and was very comfortable with my treatment. He completely redid my full mouth. It's been over 5 years and everything has been great! I love to smile and everyone comments on what a beautiful smile I have!

I would recommend Dr Lynch to anyone who is looking for great work. Dr. Lynch pays attention to

every detail and will work until it is right. His staff is awesome too! Karen is the best hygienist!

Even though I now live in another state I travel by plane to see Dr. Lynch."

"I had been very anxious about my teeth for some time before visiting Dr. Lynch’s office. Age, finances and no dental insurance had my teeth in a terrible state. The staff was so friendly and caring that I was soon put at ease.

Dr. Lynch took extra time to discuss my situation and explain all the options available to me. I left feeling quite confident that I had made the right choice in choosing Dr Lynch’s office and would recommend him to anyone."
